You are here:  School » Faculty & Staff » Jane Meyer

Mrs. Meyer was born in Phoenix, Arizona and moved to Napoleon with her family in 1967.  While attending Napoleon High School, she worked at the Napoleon Public Library and continued there after high school for 14 years.  At the time of leaving, she was head of the McClure & Florida Branch libraries.  From 1986-1996, she offered daycare in her home for 6 years; then worked in her husband's insurance office for the next four years.  In August of 1996, she began her most favorite job again--this time at St. Paul's library.  Her favorite part of this job is to see kids starting to learn to read and how it opens up a "whole new world" to them.  The excitement is certainly contagious!!  She is married to Joe, has 3 daughters, 3 sons-in law, and 5 grandchildren.  Her hobbies include "messing in the flowers", walking or hiking, traveling, watching her grandchildren in their many activities and READING !!
