Joshua Miesner, a native of Frohna, Missouri, graduated from Concordia University in Serward, Nebraska in 2008.  While at Concordia he participated in Wind Ensemble, Singers, Handbells, Jazz Band, Pep Band, and Percussion Ensemble along with helping start a percussion quartet and handbells quartet.  Joshua directed the Seward High School Jazz Band for 2 years and the St. John Lutheran 7th and 8th grade band for one semester.  He was also a clinician for the Perryville High School (Perryville, Missouri) Drumline for four years following his graduation from there in 2003.  After his graduation from Concordia, Joshua took over the University Community Band, directed the pit orchestra from "Kiss Me Kate", and gave percussion lessons at the University.  Joshua and wife Shannon met at Concordia University and were married in 2008 at Shannon's home in Sylvan Grove, Kansas.  He is excited to be called to St. Paul and to spread God's love through music.
