Mrs. Badenhop was born in Chicago and attended school in Columbus, Ohio before moving to Defiance in 1978. She attended Northwest State Community College in 1987 and began working at the King Insurance Agency as an insurance agent and office manager. In 1987, she married Cliff Badenhop and they have a daughter named Katie who is a sophomore at Napoleon High School. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and needlepoint.
