Shannon Miesner (Mueller) was born and raised in Sylvan Grove, Kansas before attending Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska.  While there she participated in Wind Ensemble, Singers, Handbells, Pep Band, Percussion Ensemble, and the University/Community Band.  She also accompanied various soloists and ensembles, played organ for several campus chapel services, and studied organ under Dr. Jeffrey Blersch.  From 2003 to 2007, Shannon taught music for Vacation Bible School at her home congregation in Kansas.  She graduated from Concordia in 2008.  Shannon and Joshua met at Concordia University and were married in 2008 in Sylan Grove.  She is excited to be called to St. Paul to spread God's love through music.
